One ChanceHe looks up to the sky as he walks home in the dark. Staring at the stars and wondering if by chance she could be looking at them at the same time. Visions of her come rushing back into his head. Seeing her face and just looking at her like she was right there. He closes the door when he gets to his room. Walks over to his phone just to be sure no one has called him. Except this time there was a message. It was from her. He turns the phone off and turns on some music and goes to bed. He wakes up and turns his phone on still ignoring her message. He doesn't want to think about her but everything he does reminds him of the time they had togethe One Chance

Battered FriendShe sat down across the table from him. Said good morning and asked him if he wanted to play checkers. He readily agreed after looking at his watch and realizing he still had 20 minutes before he had to go to school. They talked as they moved each piece and eventually it was time for him to go, but there were still pieces on the board. He moved his last piece and gave her the win. She laughed and said "good game...bout time I beat you." He just smiled at her and walked out of the resturant door and went to school. He came back later that day to wait for his mom to get off so they could go home. He only saw her for a brief second. They just ha Battered Friend

Lost LoveIt had been 10 months since they started going out. They had never talked about it before. Until today when it came up. She asked him if he was breaking up with her. He gasped...catching him out of breath at the question at hand. She looked at him...as a tear ran down his face. Yes..I am. He looked at her...she hadn't said anything. She just turned and walked away from him. She got in her car and drove away. Never looking back at him. She drove home. Without even thinking about she found some liquor and began downing bottles of it. Before she knew it she was gone. She passed out. He went home. And started back to his everyday life. Tragic EndingIt was a warm spring day. But that was to be expected from where they were. Driving down the highway they had the air condtioner blasting to keep the heat from getting to them. They could see the moisture rising from the asphalt in front of them. Over the radio they heard the weather report. "It's going to be another scorcher...with highs topping 95 degrees." He put in a cd that he had bought the night before. They started listening to the songs. And talking about the music that they were hearing. Picked at little things wrong with songs. Okay. Listen to this. Respond to this. I don't care.


I know everyone has been friends for a while. And I know OMG school is over. And now you don't have anything to do but party or whatever. Anyways point being. Don't leave behind people that matter. You don't need to run over past friendships for new ones. The people you were friends with help make you who you are. Don't forget them ever. The biggest mistake you can ever make is to leave a friendship behind.

Take this from someone without many friends. Cherish what you have with every single person you know. One day it might be gone. And then you'll be fucked. I had plently of friends at one time. And I don't see any of them now. We all left each other behind. I never recovered. Don't make my mistake happen to you. Apologize. Talk. Do something. Don't end friendships that are supposed to last.
